This means every year (or two years), you must renew your subscription. Quicken offers three versions for Mac users: Starter: As the name.
I purchased Quicken on an Amazon special at the end of the year. Istarted using it yesterday but after a couple of hours had already goobered up the account ( double entries and problems getting it to set up a couple of reoccuring debits.) Lynda.com only has Quicken 2014 for Mac and Creative Live doesn't have any Quicken programs.

I learn better from video than reading. Any recommendations on where to find a good video lesson to get started?
ThanksComments
- One of the users on this forum produced some videos for QM2015, there will obviously be some new features added since then but the videos might be enough to get you started:

But John's videos linked in the post above go into much more detail, even though they are for an older version of Quicken Mac with some small interface differences.QMac 2007 & QMac Subscription • Quicken user since 1993 - Hello!

I wanted to include the new Quicken videos that have been created recently: https://www.youtube.com/user/Quicken.
Hope this helps!
